Activities
At Camp Veritans, there is always something incredible happening. Across 60+ acres of athletic fields, trails, playgrounds, pools, and specialty spaces, campers have the opportunity to try new things, develop real skills, and discover what lights them up, every single day. Every activity is led by a specialist in their field. Campers are always encouraged to participate, but never forced.
Arts
Arts programs include: Arts and Crafts, Ceramics, Design Studio, Music, Dance, Drama, Cooking, and Gymnastics and Tumbling. Each program is led by a specialist and tailored by age group.
Aquatics
Every camper at Camp Veritans swims every day, and every swim session is a real learning experience. We follow American Red Cross guidelines for swim instruction. All lifeguards hold valid American Red Cross certification. Campers receive daily instructional swim in small groups with a trained instructor, progressing through levels all summer. Free swim in the afternoon lets campers put their skills to use.

Jewish Culture
Camp Veritans was founded on Jewish values of kindness, community, and giving back. Those values are woven into everything we do. While our heritage is Jewish, we warmly welcome families of all backgrounds. Campers learn about Israeli culture, celebrate acts of kindness (mitzvot), enjoy a Hebrew word of the day, and participate in our joyful weekly Shabbat gathering, focused on gratitude, music, and charity. Israeli counselors join our team each summer, and every summer we celebrate a dedicated Israel Day.
Camp Veritans is a beneficiary agency of the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey. For more information about the Jewish Federation of Northern New Jersey go to www.jfnnj.org.
